JohannaN was founded in the northern part of Sweden in 2009 by Johanna Nilsson, and is based on her passion for fashion and social sustainability as well as Thailand, the Thai people and her contacts there.Johanna has a background in sustainable development and fair trade, and has also lectured for the network Clean Clothes Campaign which is an organisation working towards improving the working conditions in the fashion industry.In JohannaN she reconciles these two great interests: sustainable fashion development and Thailand. Working with production conditions is a long term project and she still has a long way to go before reaching the goal of complete transparency between producer and customer.
